Sudd Cymru/ Juice Wales Weekend Retreat

Sudd Cymru English

Walking on moving escalators…

‘Are you living life too fast?’ is an interesting article by Beezy Marsh, Daily Mail which I read briefly this morning as I sat down with my fresh cup of coffee looking out onto the Cambrian Mountains.

I’m sure we can all relate to a speedy pace of life…
‘Our lives move at such a fast pace – being stuck in a traffic jam is a chance to make a quick phone call, travelling home on the train is a chance to compile the shopping list and the lunch break is a chance to pop to the bank or return an item to the shops.’
In reality, all we are seeking is a little break. Yes – this is normal!
‘Although six out of ten would secretly like to do nothing at the weekend, their spare time is actually filled with shopping, family, household chores or catching up with their friends.  84 per cent admitted to saving a few seconds by walking on moving escalators.’Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-202908/Are-living-life-fast.html#ixzz40zIhu0pJ

Spending quality time doing the ‘normal’ things with those who are our dearest is as essential to our health as what we eat and drink. If you’re a spontaneous traveller or a well-planned organiser, your stay in Ceredigion and the Cambrian Mountains will sweep you off your feet.
So, I thought I’d throw a few ideas for you to digest and help with the planning of your next relaxing break…Keep your eyes peeled for the next blogs to find some more ideas which will entertain every member of your troops!
By the way, take comfort in the fact that we only have one escalator in the whole county so if you want to keep walking we can point you to stunning destinations where you’ll find freedom, fresh air and no fast lanes!
A trail of exciting activities for you to discover…

In addition to these excellent events, you are sure to be mesmerized by a trip on the Vale of Rheidol Railway, built to carry visitors to the world-famous Mynach Falls at Devil’s Bridge.  A fantastic way to explore the local
scenery and an exploration of  the classic ‘Picturesque’ landscapes that inspired early tourists at the Hafod Estate is a must!  Take time out in the tranquillity of this stunning area.

‘The key to stress and time management is the ability to stop “doing” all the time and start “being” some of the time.’ ‘Life coach’ Blaire Palmer.

Ceredigion – A little piece of heaven…
