CASE STUDY - A massive 5-star retreat from the Credu crew.

Credu are a charitable organisation that support carers to live a good life living alongside their cared for.

Working from kindness, using collaborative communication, listening, working on strengths and reflective practise are the heart of the matter. Creating very bespoke respite, enhancing and sustaining wellbeing within our amazing Credu carers very busy caring schedules.

Tynrhyd Retreat just had everything that a resource could offer our diverse group of carers and their cared for. Including their pet therapy dogs, every need was met.

The very unique layout of the retreat gave the carers space and privacy but also opportunity to have those all inclusive around the table moments.
Bringing our carers together for the most amazing food catered for by the retreat's chef Dan, who also went out of his way making sure everyone had their dietary needs catered for. The look on the carers faces when they sat to eat.

They all agreed it was such a good wellbeing factor having someone cook for them so they could just have time out to enjoy it themselves.

Having options with such a great space for wellbeing indoors and a huge amount of outdoor space to play games, have country walks, take a luxurious dip in the communal Swim Spa is an all-around great facility that catered for everyone.

Even our wheelchair user found the retreat a good wellbeing accessible space.

The Location was great, a small commute to the beach and 5 mins down the road to Devils bridge with brilliant scenery, the steam train experience with a café and Hafod hotel for refreshments.

Let's hope we can give this wonderful wellbeing experience at Tynrhyd to more Carers and families.

Hayley, Credu.
